After an initial conversation about what subject the learner or parent/carer would like to be delivered, a text book (for Maths sessions) or reading book (for reading sessions) will be delivered to the home.

In the initial coaching session, there will be a short conversation to get to know one another and elicit the learner’s views and attitudes towards the subject, the sessions and to learning in general. We will then work through activities together, where I will provide considered questioning, encouragement and support to help and challenge the learner to complete the tasks.

Similar to a traditional tutor, I can provide sessions of 25 minutes or 50 minutes, as many times a week as you like. There is no contract, so sessions can be increased or decreased as you like.
