I earned a degree of Bachelor of Science from the University of Leeds in 2005, then graduated from York St John University in 2008 with a Post Graduate Certificate in Education. I earned Qualified Teacher status that year and completed my teaching induction in 2009. I completed my Postgraduate Certificate in Advanced Educational Studies: Primary Maths Specialists in 2014. I was awarded a National Professional Qualification for Senior Leadership and was designated as a Specialist leader of Education in 2017. I have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate.
